Festival d’Avignon is not only about spectacles but also the Côtes du Rhône wines. Since thirty years the two have become inseparable and visitors are able to experience the best of both from 5th-27th July.

The professional association Inter-Rhône will take the opportunity to arrange several events to present the best regional wines during the Festival.

The organizers have invited regional wine producers to join the Festival and to share their expertise with the public. After each show or conference, local wines will be offered to the audience, an excellent occasion to share the moment.

Côtes du Rhône and the “Bar à Vins”
Situated at rue des Trois Faucons, the temporary open-air “Bar à Vins” (wine bar) received more than 6,000 guests last year. This year, it will be open during 5th-27th July from 7pm-11pm. Wine growers will be there to introduce their products. The selection of wines will differ each evening,  with more than 250 types in total.

Singer and composer Bernard Sorbier will give a special performance on playing with words starting from 6:30pm.

Wines and Photography
Wine or photography lovers are invited to submit their best shots of Côtes du Rhône wines to Inter Rhône Facebook page before 15th Septebmer. Let your imagination goes wild!
