Nested in the crater of the unique volcano of Provence, between Loumarin and Aix-en-Provence, the Villa Baulieu, the Tuscan villa of 18 th century, is the former property of the count of Provence. Luxury, peace and sensual pleasure.
Bérengère Guénant welcomes his guests in his magnificently built family house, located in the middle of a 30 hectare park with French gardens, rose garden, ponds, woods and truffle.
The building includes a main courtyard, a library, a music room, a chapel and a smoking room. Six rooms which contain three suites and two junior suites. Each has its own style and its history. The European decoration is in declin from the time of Louis XIV, in the 18th century, the English style in 1850 or the Italian-Venetian in 1900. All of them have a quite exceptional view overthe park.
The meals take place in the Orangery in front of garden and of the swimming pool. There is no table of host. In the evening it is possible to enjoy chef Christophe’s delicious french dessert served by David Repetti, the formerwine steward of The Mirande and the cheese master. During the stay you should not forget to savor the ” Basalt ” wine , which is famous for being six years old.
Wine Safaris in vineyards, musical evenings, “oxygen” stay, the Jacuzzi over a tower offering a panorama to 360 view on vineyards, Alpille region, swimming pool, hot spring, tennis, area for playing boules and helicopters on land.
